Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teen Leadership Club – Gage Park, Chicago
A leadership club for youth ages 13 to 17 who are deaf or hard of hearing to serve the park and community, build skills and have fun
The Chicago Park District Deaf & Hard of Hearing Programs’ Leadership Club will start meeting again on Jan. 7 from 4 – 9 p.m.
Meetings will continue through March 18 (no meeting Feb. 11) at Gage Park, 2411 W. 55th Street, in Chicago.
The Teen Leadership Club combines service to the park and community with fun activities for teens between the ages of 13 and 17 (grades eight – 12). Each meeting provides different activities and opportunities for helping others, gameplay and building on leadership and creative thinking skills.
All teens are required to wear masks and practice social distancing at all times.
