The Effingham Public Library is hosting “Community Conversation: The Realities of Child Abuse” on April 12 from 6 – 7 p.m.
April is Child Abuse Preventions Month.
Join this panel discussion about the difficult topic of child abuse, child maltreatment and trauma in the Effingham community. The in-person event will feature a panel of local organizations that work with children and families in Effingham.
In addition to sharing their insights into the services and supports available, panelists will discuss how community members can be part of preventing abuse and protecting children.
