Chicago Inclusive Dance Festival
A free and accessible dance festival for all ages and abilities!
DisFest is hosting the fifth annual Chicago Inclusive Dance Festival on May 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Families and individuals can enjoy dance videos, a live performance, and a DIY Access Station throughout the day.
Dance classes and workshops will include:
- 10:00 a.m. – Everybody Can Dance inclusive movement workshop
- 12:15 p.m. – Casual, live performances of new dances
- 2 p.m. – AccepDance Workshop – families welcome!
- 3 p.m. – Short Film Showing “JMAXX and the Universal Language”
- 3:20 p.m. – Q & A with JMAXX star and the filmmaker
- 3:45 p.m. – Adaptive hip-hop workshop
All activities are free.
The location has adjacent parking and is near the CTA Blue and Pink Lines, and multiple bus stops.
