Chicago Children’s Theatre – Camp Red Kite in Chicago
Arts camp for youth on the autism spectrum ages 8 to 22
The Chicago Children’s Theatre’s Camp Red Kite arts camp will run from July 24 to Aug. 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Camp is at the Chicago Children’s Theater (CCT), 100 S. Racine Ave.
Camp Red Kite is a dynamic, engaging and welcoming theatre day camp designed for young people from ages 8 to 22 on the autism spectrum.
During three fun-filled weeks, students will rotate between classes in age-appropriate small groups exploring drama, music, movement and visual arts.
A trained team of theater professionals and diverse learner teachers lead the camp. They aim to create a safe and engaging environment that encourages social engagement and creative exploration.
The full camp rate is $950. Learn about scholarships/financial assistance opportunities.
Register online for Camp Red Kite. All new campers must attend a meet-and-greet session with Red Kite staff. Camp staff will schedule meet-and-greet sessions with applicants individually.
