Chicago Abilities Expo 2022
Free, three-day event includes workshops, resources, networking, product demonstrations and adaptive activities
The Chicago Abilities Expo features the latest products, technology, workshops and adaptive activities for individuals with disabilities of all ages.
The Expo will take place June 24-26 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center, 1551 N. Thoreau Dr., Schaumburg.
The schedule is 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Designed to help people with disabilities and their families experience life-changing opportunities, the expo will include:
- Products and technology
- Assistance animals
- Adaptive sports and dance
- Workshops
- Connections with others in the disability community
- An artist market

Registration is digital-only. Registration before the event is strongly recommended.
All attendees ages 18 and over should complete a registration form. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult but do not need a registration form.
Accommodations for expo visitors with disabilities include:
- Loaner scooters and wheelchair repair
- American Sign Language interpretation services and CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) services
- Braille and large print accommodations
