Camp Red Leaf – Youth 1:1 Session
Summer overnight camp for youth ages 9-22 who require constant care.
Camp Red Leaf allows youth and adults with developmental disabilities, emotional and behavioral needs the opportunity to experience fully-accessible outdoor activities.
The summer overnight camps include adaptable sports programs, arts and crafts, the ropes course and zip line, outdoor camping experiences and lake and heated pool activities. Staff members adapt programming to reflect the varied levels, abilities and needs of each camper while also creating a safe environment where campers are able to challenge themselves.
The Youth 1:1 session is for ages 9 to 22. It is scheduled for July 16-21 and has a camper to counselor ratio of one-to-one. During 1:1 week, attendees with more complex needs, including those with multiple diagnoses, as well as conditions with increased medical dependency, are able to enjoy the great outdoors and all that summer camp has to offer.
