Camp PALS for Ages 25 and up in Elmhurst

An inclusive camp experience for people with and without Down syndrome (DS) ages 25 and up

Camp PALS will host a modified version of its inclusive camp experience at Elmhurst College on July 26-30. Participants arrive on Wednesday and stay through Sunday.

PALS Chicago II participants must be over the age of 25 and ready to engage in more adult-focused activities with increased independence and expectations. Activities will include:

• Unique on-campus activities
• Exploring local sights
• Building transformative, lifelong friendships

PALS participants must also be fully independent in the self-administration of medication. A first-aid trained volunteer will be on-site, but there will not be a designated medical professional to dispense medication.

The cost of the modified week of Camp PALS is $1,800. PALS works with every participant to ensure that cost is never a barrier to joining the PALS community. To request financial aid and learn about options, please contact PALS staff at support@palsprograms.org or (267) 477-7257.
