Camp Little Giant – Traditions Day Camp in Makanda

Camp Little Giant Traditions Day Camp is for youth ages 9-17 with cognitive, developmental or physical disabilities who are independent or need minimal assistance with daily needs

Camp Little Giant is hosting Traditions Day Camp on June 20-24 from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Touch of Nature Outdoor Center in Makanda.

Traditions Day Camp provides campers the opportunity to play and explore the outdoors while learning new skills. This session is for campers ages 9-17 who will participate in a variety of activities, including:

• Games
• Arts and crafts
• Hiking
• Therapeutic drumming

The camper-to-staff ratio is 4:1. Participants must be independent or need only minimal assistance with eating, toileting and mobility needs.
