Camp Little Giant – Camp Traditions Session II
Camp for adults 21 and older with physical, cognitive or developmental disabilities on June 16-28.
Camp Little Giant offers participants an eye-opening view of their own capabilities and the belief that they can increase their confidence and independence. It provides the opportunity for people with mental, physical, or cognitive disabilities to get in touch with nature in a safe yet exciting manner.
The camp is located on the shores of Little Grassy Lake near the Shawnee National Forest with access to an outdoor playground full of adventure.
Camp Little Giant’s philosophy is to allow campers to develop a “can do” attitude. Their focus is for the camper to be an independent as possible while still following routines and providing necessary assistance.
