Camp Lions Youth High Adventure Camp in Makanda

Free summer camp for students ages 13-17 and adults ages 18-24 with vision and/or hearing loss.

High Adventure Camp is a new camp for the camper that likes to keep on the move. It is scheduled for June 30 to July 6 at Camp Cedar Point in Makanda.

The camp includes guided hiking tours at Giant State Park, camping overnights, rock climbing, ziplining, canopy climbing horse trail rides, archery and more.

Located on a 1,200-acre lake, there will be plenty of opportunities for kayak trips, swimming and boating.

Separate accommodations and activities are provided for youth and adult camps.
