Camp Free To Be – Heart of Illinois Special Recreation Association in Peoria Area

Day camp experience providing friendship and fun for campers ages 4 – 21 with multiple disabilities

The Heart of Illinois Special Recreation Association’s (HISRA) Camp Free To Be will be held from June 6 to July 29.  The camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Campers will enjoy making friends and experiencing a variety of fun activities.

Camp Free to Be is for campers ages 4 – 21 with multiple and/or severe disabilities.

All campers need to bring a sack lunch and drink daily. Member district transportation is available from a centralized location for residents of Chillicothe, Morton and Washington Park Districts.
