Camp Free To Be – Heart of Illinois Special Recreation Association in Peoria Area
A day camp providing friendship and fun for campers ages 4 to 21 with multiple and/or severe disabilities
The Heart of Illinois Special Recreation Association’s (HISRA) Camp Free To Be will be held from June 5 to July 28. The camp runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Camp Free to Be provides exciting activities for eight weeks throughout the summer for campers with multiple and/or severe disabilities. Campers ages 4 to 21 will enjoy making friends and experiencing a variety of fun activities.
The hand-picked staff will be paired with campers. The camp can accommodate a 1:1 ratio to ensure camper success.
All campers need to bring a sack lunch and drink daily.
Camp is $170 each week per camper for residents. The cost is $221 each week per camper for non-residents.
