Camp Blackhawk for Youth with Epilepsy 2018
Free weeklong retreat for kids and teens with epilepsy.
Each summer, the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago’s Camp Blackhawk gives youth ages 6-17 an opportunity to come together and enjoy all the fun activities and friendships that come with a trip to camp, while leaving behind the various challenges epilepsy can bring to their daily lives.
Campers can experience swimming, zip lining, boating and campfires while in a safe and medically monitored setting.
There is no cost to attend camp, however, donations are accepted and welcomed.
The first session is scheduled for July 8-13.
Please be aware that space is limited and campers are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority acceptance will be given to people within the Foundation’s service area.
Visit the Camp Blackhawk website for more details.
