Best Buddies Friendship Walk – Central Illinois
A walk highlighting meaningful friendships and raising awareness and funds to support programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
The Best Buddies’ Friendship Walk (BBFW) is on April 29 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Best Buddies builds life-changing connections through their programs in our schools, workplaces and communities. BBFW brings everyone together to focus on making the world more inclusive and welcoming to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Participants at this year’s walk will enjoy:
- Opening ceremonies with 101.5 WBNQ host Susan Saunders
- Singing karaoke on the DJ4U Stage
- Playing video games
- Exploring the job fair
- Having fun with friends at the Mission Tent
Individuals may also volunteer for the day or join a team/form a team to help raise awareness and funds.
