A free, in-person workshop to help parents and caregivers learn about different parenting styles and strategies for managing behavior and discipline
Family Matters Parent Training and Information Center (FMPTIC) is hosting “Behavior and Discipline Issues” on May 10 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
This in-person training is open to parents or anyone interested in learning about different parenting styles and strategies for dealing with behavior and discipline challenges.
Other topics will include:
- Understanding the difference between discipline and punishment
- Learning about reinforcement and encouragement
- Preventing problem behavior
