Back to School Health & Activity Fair in Murphysboro
Free school supplies and backpacks for participating children.
The Jackson County Health Department is hosting a Back to School Health & Activity Fair on Aug. 7 from 3 to 6 p.m.
Children that participate will receive free school supplies and a backpack, while supplies last.
The fair will also include:
- Vision and hearing screenings
- Height and weigh checks
- Free car seat safety checks by the Carbondale Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department
- Dental exams, cleaning, fluoride treatments and sealants
- Healthy food tips and recipes
- Immunizations
- Refreshments
- Games
