Babies & Tots Playgroup for Children Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
A playgroup for toddlers who are deaf or hard of hearing featuring American Sign Language activities, games and creative crafts
Come learn and play with the Chicago Park District Deaf and Hard of Hearing Programs’ “Babies & Tots Playgroup.” The playgroup will meet through March 19 on Tuesday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Sessions will be on:
- Feb. 20 and 27
- March 5, 12 and 19
The playgroup is open to parents with children with hearing loss between the ages of 9 months to 3 years old.
Participants will have fun while building friendships and important communication skills.
Activities will include:
- Using and learning American Sign Language (ASL)
- ASL story time and games
- Creative crafts and more

Admission is $5 per child.
