Autism Speaks at Blue Man Group Chicago

Fifth annual autism-friendly show.

The Blue Man Group Chicago will perform a sensory-friendly show at the Briar Street Theatre on Aug. 19.

The performance will include slight modifications, such as:

  • Reduced sound and light levels at various moments during the performance. (Please note that strobe lighting is still used in the show.)
  • Sound-reducing headphones or earplugs are available upon request.
  • Blue Men will limit the amount of “chair walking” and keep their approach to the audience more subdued.
  • Calming environment in the lobby for families seeking a break from the excitement.

All tickets will be sold at a discounted price of $49 each, and $5 from every ticket purchased will be donated back to Autism Speaks.
