Autism-Friendly Community Celebration in Bloomington
A free autism-friendly community celebration and logo recreation event to highlight Autism Awareness Month
Autism McLean and the McLean County Museum are hosting an autism-friendly community celebration on April 1 from 3 to 5 p.m.
The event will celebrate autism acceptance in McLean County.
Activities will include recreating the Autism Friendly Community (AFC) logo.The event needs at least 150 individuals from 3:45 to 4 p.m. for the photo session. Wear your favorite hats and shirts in one of the six AFC colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple) and join the fun!
The event will also include:
- Free museum entry and help from Illinois State University Students Supporting Individuals with Disabilities (SSID) volunteers
- Snacks and AFC giveaways
- Recognition
