Discover new and inclusive ways of supporting individuals with autism in an ever-changing world at this in-person conference

The Autism Society of Southern Illinois and  Southern Illinois University Vice Chancellor for Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are hosting the Autism Conference 2024 “Promoting Inclusion in an Increasingly Diverse World” on April 24 from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Join experts, educators, caregivers, and community members in sharing information, experiences and strategies for fostering inclusion for individuals of all ages with autism.

Keynote speaker Cari Ebert, MS, CCC-SLP, will kick off the event with “Autism Strategies and Neurodiversity Affirming Practices.” Ebert is a pediatric speech-language pathologist, consultant, and nationally recognized speaker who will share her insights on:

  • Inclusive education
  • Neurodiversity
  • Empowering individuals with autism to reach their full potential

Participants can also connect through:

  • Interactive workshops and breakout sessions
  • Networking opportunities with peers and experts in the field
  • Learning and exchanging ideas about innovative approaches to supporting individuals with autism
