Advocate Children’s Hospital Sibshops in Oak Lawn
A support group for brothers and sisters of children with special needs
Join Advocate Children’s Hospital Children’s Health Resource Center for SIBSENSATIONS on March 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
SIBSENSATIONS will be in-person at the Oak Lawn Conference Center.
This group is for kids ages 7 to 12 who have siblings with disabilities or chronic conditions. Kids talk to kids about what it’s like having a brother or sister with different abilities. Participants learn how to handle hard situations in a fun and friendly setting filled with:
- Games
- Crafts
- Kid-friendly discussion
In-person meetings are $5 to $10. (Scholarships are available.) The meetings take place at Oak Lawn and Park Ridge. Your child may attend either site.
