Advocate Children’s Hospital Sibshops for Children in Park Ridge
Free, in-person educational and activity-based group for children ages 6 to 11 who have a brother or sister with a disability or chronic condition
Advocate Children’s Hospital will host “Sibshops” on March 29 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Sibshops are a program of the National Sibling Support Project. Organizations nationwide run Sibshops to recognize and address the life-long and ever-changing concerns of millions of siblings of people with developmental, health and mental health concerns.
Advocate Children’s Hospital Sibshops offer peer support and fun educational activities for children who have a brother or sister with a disability or chronic condition.
Siblings ages 6 to 11 will enjoy:
- Games
- Discussions with other siblings about their common experiences, joys, and concerns
The session is free.
All participants must pre-register for Sibshops by emailing Ahren Hoffman at ahren.hoffman@aah.org.
