Advocate Children’s Hospital will host “Sibshops” on March 1 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Sibshops are a program of the National Sibling Support Project. Organizations nationwide run Sibshops to recognize and address the life-long and ever-changing concerns of millions of siblings of people with developmental, health and mental health concerns.

Advocate Children’s Hospital Sibshops offer peer support and fun educational activities for children who have a brother or sister with a disability or chronic condition.

Siblings ages 6 to 11 will enjoy:

  • Games
  • Discussions with other siblings about their common experiences, joys, and concerns

The session is free.

All participants must pre-register for Sibshops by emailing Ahren Hoffman at ahren.hoffman@aah.org.

You can also contact Kathy Smart for more information about the Oak Lawn and Park Ridge events at kathryn.smart@aah.org or (847) 723-2472.
