Adventures Unlimited – Chicagoland
A free respite program offering fun adventures for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD)
Adventures Unlimited, a program of Envision, is hosting an event that will include video shoot practice and a picnic on May 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event is at Envision’s Westtown Training Center, 1801 N. Spaulding, in Chicago.
Adventures Unlimited is a free state-funded respite program that provides engaging programming and events for participants with I/DD and respite to caregivers.
The program is open to adults and children as young as 4 years old who have a documented developmental disability and are not enrolled in any other Medicaid waiver program.
Adventures Unlimited provides two-hour recreational activities with an emphasis on fitness, art, media training, and food preparation.
