Abe for All: Sensory Friendly Sunday in Springfield
An inclusive, sensory-friendly event at the museum
The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum (ALPLM) is hosting “Abe for All: Sensory Friendly Sunday” on July 30 from 1 to 5 p.m.
ALPLM guests will learn about President Lincoln in a sensory-friendly environment with:
- Lights turned on in the Theater and Journey
- Lower sound
- Less special effects
A quiet room will be available.
More accessibility resources include listening devices, social stories, busy bags and a pre-visit preparation packet to help plan your visit.
Regular admission prices apply. Advance registration is not required.
Abe for All: Sensory Friendly Sunday will also take place on the last Sunday of October.
