AAPD 2024 Fall Internship Program Virtual Information Session
Free virtual information session for anyone interested in applying for the 2024 AAPD Fall Internship Program
The American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) is hosting a virtual 2024 Fall Internship Program information session on March 4 from 3 to 4 p.m.
AAPD’s internship program places students and recent graduates with disabilities in paid internships. Interns build leadership skills, explore career opportunities and connect with the disability community.
The information session will provide potential applicants with:
- Program information and important dates
- An opportunity to ask questions
- Tips for navigating the application process
The program will select ten interns to participate for 14 weeks from Sept. 3 to Dec. 6. The internship includes:
- Attending an in-person gathering in Washington, D.C., from July 24 – 27
- Completing remote internships at placement sites
- Working part-time for 15 hours a week and being paid $18 per hour
