A Year with Frog and Toad Access Weekend in Chicago
Enjoy beloved characters hopping from the page to the stage during access weekend
Chicago Children’s Theatre will host “A Year of Frog and Toad Access Weekend” on April 27 and 28. Sensory-friendly performances will be held both days at 9:30 a.m.
Two more accessible shows will also be available:
- Saturday at 11:30 a.m. – American Sign Language (ASL) and open caption
- Sunday at 11:30 a.m. – Audio description and touch tour (available on request and must confirm attendance two weeks before performance)
Children’s author and illustrator Arnold Lobel’s beloved characters hop from the page to the stage in the Tony-nominated musical “A Year With Frog And Toad.” This production follows two best friends – the cheerful, popular Frog and grumpy but lovable Toad – through four fun-filled seasons.
The show is for children of all ages and will last about an hour.
