Join STAR NET Region IV for “A Very Sensory Day: An Exploration of Naturally Occurring and Planned Sensory Experiences” on April 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Occupational therapist and child development specialist Jennifer Rosnia will cover the basic principles of sensory processing and provide opportunities for participants to apply what they are learning.
Julia will help participants understand how to use sensory experiences throughout the day to foster regulation, play and active participation in learning and building relationships.
Activities will include:
- Learning through team case study work
- Exploring different sensory experiences
- Utilizing naturally occurring and planned sensory experiences
