A free behavioral health community forum for individuals and professionals

McLean County is hosting the 5th Annual McLean County Behavioral Health Community Forum “We Are All in This Together” on Oct. 5 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The event is at the Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, 201 Broadway Ave., Normal.

The conference features keynote speakers Mary Campbell and Feli Sebastian who will present “We Are All In This Together and Together We Are Stronger.”

Campbell, a retired social work faculty from Normal, and Feli Sebastian, a psychologist from Bloomington, are the co-founders of the Dreams Are Possible Training Center. The center helps women with low income learn basic skills to determine if they wish to pursue a career in the building trades.

There will be 24 breakout sessions to choose from between six session tracks:

  • Adult Behavioral Health
  • Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health
  • Substance Use
  • Law and Justice
  • Build Your Resilience Toolbox
  • Emerging Trends and Community Behavioral Health Updates.

Attendance is free. Lunch is $10 for individuals that register in advance.
