20th Annual Caregiver Conference in Springfield

A conference for family caregivers of older adults and grandparents and/or family members who are raising grandchildren

AgeLinc-Area Agency on Aging for Lincolnland will present the 20th Annual Caregiver Conference, “Making Moments of Joy,” on June 18 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The conference is at the Crown Plaza, 3000 S. Dirksen Parkway, Springfield.

Family Caregivers of older adults and grandparents who are raising grandchildren can visit exhibitors, meet other caregivers and learn. Participants will hear from a variety of speakers on topics that will inform and inspire:

• Keynote speaker Dr. Cheryl Woodson on “To Survive Caregiving”
• Linda Miller on “T-Care; How it Works and the Benefits”
• Amy Brennan with the Illinois Caregiver Coalition
• Jeff Koziatek Foundation on “Making Confident Decisions”

Participants must mail an event registration fee of $20 with their registration form. The organizers will refund this fee to attendees at the conference.

The registration form and fee must be returned to AgeLinc by June 14 (by the end of the workday).
