2021 Autism Behavior and Complex Needs (ABC) Conference for Providers
DSCC leadership will provide the keynote address on caring for children with special healthcare needs
The Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (ICAAP) is hosting the 2021 Autism Behavior and Complex Needs (ABC) Conference virtually on March 26 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The ABC Conference focuses on the broad landscape of services and programs that are available to support children with special needs from birth through childhood and how to develop skills to make effective referrals and partner with other agencies and systems.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Caring for Children with Special Healthcare Needs in the COVID Landscape.”
The conference will open with a keynote address from Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) Executive Director Tom Jerkovitz and Director of Care Coordination, System Development and Education Molly Hofmann.
