2019 Lincoln Land Down Syndrome Society Buddy Walk

Walk to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month.

The Buddy Walk® was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.

The Lincoln Land Down Syndrome Society will host its 2019 Buddy Walk on Saturday, Sept. 28, at Washington Park in Springfield.

The cost is:

• Adults: $10
• Kids 7-12: $5
• Kids 6 and under: Free
• Anyone with Down syndrome: Free

Schedule:

• Registration: 12:45 pm
• Walk: 1:30 pm

Food will be provided following the walk.
