16th Annual Autism and Developmental Disabilities Walk-a-Thon in Hillside
A walk-a-thon for all ages and abilities featuring music, education, resources, face painting and games
Join The Answer, Inc. for the 16th Annual Autism and Developmental Disabilities Walk-a-Thon on May 6 from 11 to 3 p.m.
The event will kick off with registration at 11 a.m. Opening ceremonies will be at 11:30 a.m. Walking will start at 12 p.m.
The event will feature:
- Education and community resources
- Music by DJ B-Low
- Face painting and games
- Life-size characters
- Raffle prizes
- Food
The National Kidney Foundation of Illinois will also be on-hand to provide screenings.
Funds raised at the event will support horseback riding camp, summer camps and college scholarships.
