Raising Sickle Cell Awareness One Mile at a Time

Walk-Job-Bike-A-Thon fundraising event for the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Illinois.

The Sickle Cell Disease Association of Illinois is holding its 44th annual Walk-Jog-Bike-A-Thon, or WJBAT, on June 9 at 39th Street on Chicago’s lakefront.

The WJBAT brings together individuals from all walks of life in support of more than 5,000 individuals with sickle cell disease in the state of Illinois.

Check-in starts at 8 a.m., and the competition starts at 9 a.m.
