Virtual Conference – “Planning for the Future for Children and Adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities”
A virtual, half-day conference to help families and caregivers plan for the future for children and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD)
Join The Arc of Illinois on Zoom for “Planning for the Future for Children and Adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities” on Feb. 15. from 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
There will be three sessions:
- 9 to 10:45 a.m. – “Special Needs Estate and Future Planning” presented by Brian Rubin, JD, and Benjamin Rubin, JD, LLM, Rubin Law
- 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. – “Planning for the future of your child/young adult living with a disability!” presented by Shirley Perez and Ruth Aguilar, The Arc of Illinois Ligas Family Advocate Program
- 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. – “Facilitating Student Engagement in Transition and IEP Development” presented by Megan Mutti, Family Matters Parent Training Center
The cost is $40 per self-advocate/family member and $55 per professional.
