Webinar – “Social Security Program Through Life’s Journey”

A free webinar for individuals with disabilities, their families and professionals to learn about Social Security programs and the benefits they can provide

Join The Arc of Illinois‘ Illinois Life Span Program and Family-to-Family Health Information Center for “Social Security Program Through Life’s Journey” on May 9 from 12 to 1 p.m.

The Social Security Administration provides many programs.

Public Affairs Specialist Megan Forristall will help participants learn about programs that include:

• The Federal Insurance Contributions Act (FICA) and what it is
• Social Security Disability Benefits
• Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
• Medicare
• Living arrangements and the Fair Share program

Megan will also discuss how to prevent identity theft and scams. She will also share online resources to learn more about Social Security programs.
