Stan Mikita Hockey School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

A hockey camp for deaf and hard-of-hearing youth players with beginner through college-level ability

Join the American Hearing Impaired Hockey Association (AHIHA) for the Stan Mikita Hockey School on June 10 to 17.

The AHIHA- Stan Mikita Hockey School is for deaf and hard-of-hearing hockey players at the beginner through college-level ability who are actively participating in an organized hockey program and wish to improve their skills.

Players will enjoy on-ice instruction and off-ice conditioning sessions with National Hockey League, National Collegiate Athletic Association and the National Team Development Program coaching staff. Evening games will take place against local teams.

AHIHA will provide daily bus transportation to and from the hotel to the ice arena for the hockey players and their families. Campers will receive three evening meals during the week. There is a closing reception following the awards ceremony on the last day of the camp.

There is no cost for hockey players to participate. Players under the age of 21 must have a parent/guardian accompany them to the hockey school. Participants are responsible for travel and accommodations, meals (that are not provided by AHIHA) and transportation other than the bus.
