Join the Center for Youth Voice, Youth Choice (CYVYC) on Zoom for “Supporting Youth and Young Adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (IDD) with Decision-Making: What Every Parent Needs to Know” on March 27 from 2 to 3 p.m.
This webinar will help parents of youth and young adults with IDD gather information and learn more about the range of options for providing decision-making support.
Speakers will include experts from CYVYC as well as youth with IDD and their parents. They will cover:
- Facts and myths about various options
- Ways to maximize youth decision-making and self-determination
- How to develop strategies and action steps

- Preparing for when your child turns 18
- Taking a closer look at supported decision-making
- Supporting healthcare-related decision-making.
