Sign Language Camp for Kids in Carterville
A camp for children in pre-K through fifth grade to learn sign language and build friendships with their peers who are deaf or hearing impaired
John A. Logan Community Education Program is hosting Sign Language Camp this summer in Carterville. One- or two-week options are available for children in pre-K through fifth grade.
Children will have fun learning a new language and making friends. They can also enjoy activities including painting, storytelling and theater games.
The camp sessions are:
June 5 – 9
- Fourth- and fifth-graders from 1 to 2 p.m.
- Second- and third-graders from 2 to 3 p.m.
June 12 – 16
- Pre-K and first-graders from 2 to 3 p.m.
July 10 – 21
- Pre-K and first-graders from 2 to 3 p.m.
July 24 – Aug. 5
- Fourth- and fifth-graders from 1 to 2 p.m.
- Second- and third-graders from 2 to 3 p.m.
One-week sessions are $21 per camper. Two-week sessions are $42 per camper.
