A virtual, two-morning conference for parents/caregivers, professionals and individuals with autism to explore a wide variety of topics and grow your understanding of autism

Join Easterseals Midwest for the Virtual Autism Conference on Nov. 3 – 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day. The conference is sponsored by the Productive Living Board.

Participants may choose from session topics ranging from “What to Expect After an Autism Diagnosis” to “An Inside Look Into Music Therapy” to “Helping Children of all Ages with Emotion Regulations Using the SCERTS Model.”

The line-up of keynote speakers will include:

  • Patti Vasquez – the host of the radio program “Driving it Home”, a stand-up comedian, inspirational speaker and an advocate for individuals with disabilities.
  • Haley Moss – a lawyer, neurodiversity expert, keynote speaker, educator and the author of four books that guide neurodivergent individuals through professional and personal challenges. Diagnosed with autism at the age of 3, her parents were told that she might not ever finish high school or earn a driver’s license.
  • Jonathan Martinis, Senior Director for Law and Policy for the Burton Blatt Institute at Syracuse University – a leader who is working to ensure that older adults and people with disabilities have access to the services and supports they need to lead independent, inclusive lives.
