Sensory-Friendly Performance of “The Lion King” in Chicago
An opportunity for families to enjoy a sensory-friendly performance of Disney’s “The Lion King.”
Broadway in Chicago, in partnership with Aspire, invites you to a sensory-friendly matinee of Disney’s “The Lion King” on Jan. 7 from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
The performance will be at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, 151 W. Randolph St., Chicago.
This sensory-friendly performance is designed to create a welcoming and comfortable arts experience for people with autism, sensory sensitivities or other social, learning or cognitive disabilities.
Modifications include:
- Lower noise levels
- More house lighting
- Designated spaces with minimal stimuli
Tickets go on sale on Aug. 3.
