Illinois School for the Visually Impaired 2022 Opening Doors Program
A free series of virtual and in-person events for parents, guardians and their children with visual impairments and additional disabilities
The Illinois School for the Visually Impaired (ISVI) invites you to join “Opening Doors 2022” on June 10 from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Come socialize and meet others at this in-person Opening Doors event at the ISVI Campus, 658 East State St., in Jacksonville.
Opening Doors is a multi-day event for parents, guardians and their children with visual impairments ages birth to 5.
Participants at this in-person Opening Doors program will enjoy lunch, make-it-take-it activities and learning about topics such as:
- Cerebral visual impairment (CVI)
- Ocular visual impairments
- Braille
- Switch toys and adapted activities
Educational resource bags will also be available at this event.
Register online for Opening Doors 2022. Registration is required by May 15.
