A free webinar for parents and caregivers to learn about the University of Illinois Chicago’s Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) care coordination services and program eligibility

The Illinois School for the Visually Impaired is hosting “DSCC Care Coordination Services and Overview of Program Eligibility” via Zoom on Jan. 11 from 3:30 – 5 p.m.

DSCC is a statewide program that partners with families and communities to help children with special healthcare needs connect to services and resources.

Join DSCC Family Liaison Violet Wiker to learn how DSCC care coordination teams:

  • Focus on strengths and strive to put children and youth with special healthcare needs and their families at the center of a seamless support system
  • Carefully assess each family’s unique needs and develop care plans to help them achieve their goals
  • Empower families and help them reach their full potential

The presentation will also include an overview of program eligibility.
