11th Annual Epilepsy Consumer Conference: Navigating the Telehealth World
A free conference aimed at providing education and advancing the quality of patient care within the epilepsy community
Join the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago for the “11th Annual Consumer Conference: Navigating the Telehealth World,” presented by Northwestern Medicine, on Nov. 20 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The conference is at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, 221 N. Columbus Drive, in Chicago.
The event focuses on increasing education and advancing the quality of patient care within the epilepsy community.
Conference speakers from multiple epilepsy centers and hospitals in Chicago will cover a wide variety of topics, including:
- Understanding your diagnosis
- Different seizure types
- Treatment options
- New rescue medications
- Memory and cognitive issues
- Comorbidities in epilepsy
Staff from UIC’s Division of Specialized Care for Children will also be available to explain how we support children and youth with epilepsy and other special healthcare needs.
Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be available throughout the day. Valet parking for those who drive is also available.
