Virtual SAILS Program – Supporting Adolescents With Independent Life Skills
A series of educational sessions on a variety of topics related to the transition to adult care
The Transition to Adult Care Team at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is hosting a virtual summer SAILS (Supporting Adolescents With Independent Life Skills) program.
The program includes a series of educational sessions on a variety of Transition to Adult Care topics, including:
- Understanding your benefits as an adult
- Panel presentation of young adults
- College readiness
The SAILS sessions will be virtual using Microsoft Teams. A call-in option is also available.
The sessions take place on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. through Sept. 8.
The Aug. 25 session on mental health with presenter Megan Lerner, LCSW, Lurie Children’s Pritzker Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health.
Meeting log-in information and a full schedule of upcoming SAILS sessions are posted on the Lurie website.
