The Family Matters Parent Training and Information Center is hosting a “Work Incentives Planning and Assistance Presentation” webinar at 10 a.m. Aug. 13.
Participants will learn about Social Security Disability Benefit’s Work Incentives – Supplemental Security Income (SSI); Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI; and Disabled Adult Child (DAC) – and options available to maintain healthcare while being employed.

The presenter is Ron Mulvaney, BS, BS, CWIC, from Illinois Assistive Technology Program-Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (IATP-WIPA).
Work Incentives Planning and Assistance is a grant-funded program through the Social Security Administration. The WIPA program serves individuals currently receiving SSI and/or SSDI and/or DAC and/or Disabled Widow/er Benefits (DWB) that are ready to start employment.
The program’s mission is to offer correct information concerning Social Security Work Incentives, options available to maintain healthcare while working, and the impact of employment upon other public benefits, both state and federal.
