Suds and Stories Event in Effingham

Receive coins and detergent to do laundry while little ones enjoy a story and craft.

The Effingham Elks and the Effingham Public Library are sponsoring a Suds and Stories event March 5 at Becker’s Wash and Dry.

Families are invited to attend the laundromat and do their laundry while little ones enjoy a story time and craft.

Coins for washing, laundry detergent and a book for each child that attends will be provided.

The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on March 5.

Families must register online in advance. Visit the library website for the 6 p.m. event registration and the 7:30 p.m. event registration.
