Attend this statewide conference to help prepare young adults for life’s changes.

The 10th annual Stepping Stones of Transition Conference is for high school-aged students and young adults with disabilities, their family members, teachers, vocational professionals, caregivers, health care professionals and advocates. It offers opportunities to expand the vision of what is possible in areas of independent living, education and training, employment, community inclusion, health care and self-advocacy.

What You’ll Learn

Consider these numbers from the U.S. Census Bureau’s most recent report. They show the importance of preparing young adults with vocational skills, and creating more job opportunities for people with disabilities.

You’ll learn about so much more than just employment. During 41 break-out sessions, 4 general sessions, and 2 dynamic keynote presentations by Denise Bissonnette and Patrick Schwarz, a wide variety of transition topics will promote better outcomes for students with disabilities transitioning to adult life. Full descriptions of all sessions, information about the speakers, and a link to registration information are available at the conference website.

Professionals can earn continuing education or professional development credits.
