    IHDA provides mortgage loans, grants that enable low-income homeowners to pay for repairs and improvements to their homes and free foreclosure prevention assistance for homeowners struggling with mortgage payments.

    IHDA also provides resources to help people across the state find apartments that fit their budgets.

    The Housing Authority of Cook County is committed to providing quality housing to low and moderate-income families, the elderly and individuals with disabilities throughout suburban Cook County. Programs and resources include low-income public housing, affordable multi-family housing, Housing Choice Voucher Programs and more Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher Programs.

    The Georgia Tech Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation’s COVID-19 Accessible Resources microsite provides accessible messages of critical health importance about COVID-19 to people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers.

    The target audiences for translations of COVID-19 guidance are individuals who have limited mobility or are blind, deaf or have limited literacy skills resulting from a variety of factors. The alternative formats include simplified text documents, videos in American Sign Language (ASL) and both digital and embossed braille.
