 h with complex medical needs and disabilities\n\nThe Perkins School for th
 e Blind will host "Ways to Ensure Youth Participation in Health-Related De
 cision Making" on April 15 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Webinars will continue 
 on Wednesdays through April 29.\n\nEach session will feature expert presen
 ters\, several of whom are parents with real-world insights into the uniqu
 e challenges faced by individuals with complex disabilities.\n\nExplore co
 mmon challenges young people with medical needs may face when expressing p
 references\, asking questions\, or participating in care decisions.\n\nEli
 zabeth Bostic is the Director of the Division for Children and Youth with 
 Special Health Needs at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and 
 the founder of The Parent Coach. She will discuss:\n\n 	Practical strategi
 es families can use alongside schools and IEP teams to support participati
 on in healthcare planning and goal-setting\n 	Ideas for including young ad
 ults in decisions about their health in ways that feel meaningful and achi
 evable\n\nEach session will provide a deeper understanding of how to promo
 te continuity of care\, independence and quality of life for young adults 
 with complex medical and developmental needs.\n\nThe webinar is free. Pare
 nts\, caregivers\, educators\, healthcare professionals and advocates are
